Atrium Health notifies 586K of past tracking tech use

Atrium Health informed roughly 586,000 from its past patient portal users of a data breach that involved transmitting personal data to third-party vendors like Google and Facebook (now Meta). Massachusetts-based Anna Jaques Hospital notified about 316,000 individuals about a data security incident that potentially compromised personal, health and financial data. Colonial Behavioral Health reported a ransomware attack, that may have resulted in a data breach impacting nearly 30,000 individuals, including possible access to demographic, clinical and claims data.
