Security company Armis has found nurse call systems to be the most vulnerable to cyber attacks in clinical settings, followed by infusion pumps and medication dispensing systems. The majority of these devices have unpatched critical vulnerabilities, despite the increasing reliance on connected devices in healthcare. The issue is particularly pressing as smart hospitals are expected to double the number of Internet of Medical Things devices by 2026.
