Kaspersky has identified a new malware named “SparkCat” affecting iOS apps; 11 such compromised apps have been removed from the app store, with another 89 found to have the same incriminating code. The apps harboring this malicious framework, such as ComeCome, WeTink, and AnyGPT, were specifically designed to steal sensitive information from images and screenshots, including recovery phrases for cryptocurrency wallets.
