Apple has agreed to a $95m payout to settle a proposed class action lawsuit accusing it of violating privacy via its Siri assistant. Siri users who had confidential voice communications unintentionally recorded or shared with third parties between 2014 and 2024 as a result of unintended Siri activation are eligible for a $20 per device claim. Apple has made software changes to address these concerns but denies any wrongdoing.
