Android 15’s security and privacy features are the update’s highlight

Android 15 has begun rolling out to Pixel devices. The upgrade focuses on privacy and security, offering a “Private Space for apps” where users can use a PIN or biometric check to safeguard selected apps. Android 15 also aims to prevent the leaking of one-time passcodes (OTPs) and other sensitive information, increasing control on app permissions. A lock at the bottom of the all-apps list is a new feature for navigating to the private space.
