American Associated Pharmacies Struck by Ransomware Attack

American Associated Pharmacies (AAP) has been targeted by ransomware operation Embargo, with hackers reportedly stealing over 1.4TB of data and demanding $1.3m to decrypt it. Embargo claim AAP paid the ransom and are demanding another $1.3m to keep the data private. Although AAP has not verified these claims, it has announced the resumption of limited ordering capabilities on its website and the resetting of all user passwords.
