Amazon Web Services (AWS) is considered the world’s largest and most influential storage vendor, with an extensive storage portfolio. Its services include Amazon S3, which holds over 340 trillion objects, and Amazon EBS, which transfers over 13 exabytes of data daily. Recently, AWS introduced Amazon FSx for Lustre, a scalable, high-performance, and managed version of the open-source Lustre parallel file system and expanded its AWS DataSync service to include more cloud providers. AWS also announced a logically air-gapped vault for its AWS Backup service, enhancing data security.
