Amazon Pharmacy has announced a plan to test prescription drug delivery by drone in selected locations. The drones can deliver the medicines within an hour and are expected to carry over 500 medications. The first location to test the service is College Station, Texas. The company aims to introduce this service in another US location and cities in Italy and UK by end of 2024.
