New York-based Altera Digital Health has made its cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) software, Paragon Denali, available for health systems. Powered by Microsoft Azure, the software allows for improved data accessibility and system reliability. It is intended to support rural, community, and critical access hospitals which typically have fewer resources, providing them with advanced security controls and lower costs for maintenance and hardware.
