Worldwide AI software revenue is predicted to reach $307bn by 2027, according to IDC, indicating a growing demand for AI solutions. This forecast includes AI Applications, AI System Infrastructure Software, and AI Application Development and Deployment software, but not Generative AI platforms. AI Applications generate about a third of all AI sales, while AI Platforms will become the biggest category. However, AI Systems and Application Development and Deployment are expected to demonstrate the most rapid growth.
