Researchers at CSIRO’s Australian e-Health Research Centre have discovered ways to improve AI diagnosis of heart and lung conditions using X-ray. Findings suggest the right combination of encoder and decoder, alongside warm starting method, can bring a 26.9% accuracy improvement for automated report generation. This will help decrease clinician workload and improve the efficiency of diagnosing heart and lung-related diseases.
