Adidas suffered a cyberattack during which an external party obtained customer data through a third-party provider. Although no passwords or payment-related information were accessed, the contact information of past customers was compromised. Adidas is now working with information security experts to contain and investigate the incident, and is in the process of notifying potentially affected consumers and relevant authorities.
