Addressing growing concerns about cybersecurity in manufacturing

IBM’s 2024 Cost of a Data Breach report states that the average total cost of a data breach in the industrial sector was $5.56 million, marking an 18% increase from the previous year. To protect their systems and data, manufacturers must implement stringent security policies, regularly update IoT devices, segment networks, invest in advanced threat detection, and plan for backup and disaster recovery.
