Microsoft has discovered a new remote access trojan (RAT) named StilachiRAT. It uses advanced techniques to avoid detection and persist within target environments, with the aim to steal sensitive data such as login credentials and digital wallet information. The malware was detected in November 2024. It has capabilities to gather extensive system information and to specifically target various cryptocurrency wallet extensions. The delivery method to targets remains unclear.
