Microsoft has unveiled its Python Risk Identification Toolkit (PyRIT), a framework that allows security experts and machine learning engineers to detect and lessen risks in generative AI systems. The toolkit, initially used by Microsoft’s AI Red Team to red team generative AI systems, is another step in Microsoft’s endeavours to democratise AI security.
