Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth has opened the AdventHealth Heart & Vascular Institute on its Littleton, Colo., campus.
The new facility represents a $150 million investment for the health system, according to an Aug. 26 report from NBC affiliate 9News.
Services provided at the heart center will include electrophysiology, surgery, intensive care, imaging, ablation and cardiac catheterization. The facility will staff more than 85 physicians and care team members, an Aug. 26 news release from the health system said.
Physicians from Colorado’s largest cardiology practice, Littleton-based South Denver Cardiology, will also provide care at the facility, the release said.
