Hackers Target 700+ ComfyUI AI Image Generation Servers to Spread Malware

China’s National Cybersecurity Notification Center has warned of urgent vulnerabilities in image-generation framework ComfyUI, widely used in large AI models, which have been exploited by hackers. The flaws have compromised 695 servers worldwide and allowed the attackers to distribute a backdoor, called “Pickai”, for stealing AI-related data, executing commands remotely, and establishing reverse shell access.
