Dozens arrested across Asia in global infostealer malware crackdown

A global crackdown on information-stealing malware led to the arrest of 32 suspects and the dismantling of over 20,000 malicious IP addresses and domains. The operation was carried out from January to April, mainly focusing on Asia and resulted in the seizure of servers and stolen data. Victims were alerted to potential breaches, and advice was given on protecting accounts. Law enforcement agencies worked with private cybersecurity firms to target malware such as Lumma, Risepro and Meta.
