Ohio-based hospital network, Kettering Health, confirmed a ransomware attack that led to technology failure across its facilities, forcing the cancellation of all elective procedures while emergency services continue under contingency plans. The Greater Miami Valley EMS Council reported Kettering emergency departments are diverting ambulances. Meanwhile, Premier Health declared a “code yellow” in anticipation of increased patient volumes. The attack was carried out by the Interlock Ransomware Group. Kettering Health also confirmed reports of scam calls targeting its patients.
