Scammers Use Fake Kling AI Ads to Spread Malware

A series of malware campaigns have been identified targeting users of generative AI tools, notably posing as the popular Kling AI platform. The attackers used fake social media ads and cloned websites to trick users into downloading malicious files. Having used the appearance of a common media format, the malware then deployed a remote access Trojan (RAT) on compromised systems, enabling the attackers to monitor activity and take full control of the system.
