Chinese printer company, Procolored’s driver files have been found to contain malware, including a Windows-based backdoor, according to cybersecurity vendor G Data. The malware was revealed after a YouTuber raised an alert about a printer that delivered malware threats upon installation. Although Procolored initially dismissed the findings as false positives, G Data traced the threat to the files hosted on Procolored’s website.
