England’s National Health Service (NHS) is urging its suppliers to adhere to robust cybersecurity practices due to increasing threats, including ransomware. The initiative is part of a voluntary cybersecurity charter designed to protect the NHS’s supply chain. The charter includes eight security pledges such as maintaining up-to-date systems, adhering to the Data Security and Protection Toolkit standards and implementing multi-factor authentication.
