Marks & Spencer customer emails and dates of birth stolen in cyber attack

Marks & Spencer confirmed a cyber attack, allegedly by the group Scattered Spider, led to the theft of customer personal data including names, email and postal addresses, and DOBs. The company reassured customers that no payment or card details, or account passwords, were compromised. M&S is advising and prompting customers to reset their passwords, while also grappling with disruptions to its online services.
