North Korean hacking group, Lazarus, is making use of increasingly sophisticated methods, including setting up fake US crypto companies to distribute malware embedded in job listing links, according to cybersecurity firm Silent Push. The malware, disguised as an app solution to a video upload error, allows the hackers to access victims’ devices. The group is also using AI to create fake employee photos and stealing real ones to create deceptive identities.
