To combat the rise in scams since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, Which? launched a free Scam Alerts newsletter. Scams included fake Covid jabs, NHS impersonations and dodgy retail sites in 2020; delivery text and bank impersonation scams in 2021; WhatsApp and energy scams in 2022; QR code scams in 2023; parking fine and celebrity AI scams in 2024; and sim-swap and purchase scams in 2025. Which? has helped subscribers avoid an estimated £5.5m in losses.
Yale New Haven Health data breach affected over 5.5M people
Over 5.5 million people were affected by a data breach involving an “unauthorized third party” on Yale New Haven Health’s network (YNHHS) on March 8.
