Biotech firms EditCo Bio and Promega have made a strategic licensing agreement enabling EditCo to use Promega’s protein-labeling and bioluminescent technologies in its gene-editing references. EditCo said integrating into its platform technologies such as Promega’s HiBiT, HaloTag, and NanoLuc peptide tags would help probe protein dynamics within living cells and draw insights into more complex biological mechanisms.
