Government-backed hackers from North Korea, Iran, and Russia are increasingly utilising the ClickFix method in their cyber espionage campaigns, according to cybersecurity provider, Proofpoint. The ClickFix attack, a type of social engineering, deceives users into downloading and executing malicious code masquerading as error messages or security alerts from trusted applications.
