A whistleblower has revealed that an IP address from Russia tried to access sensitive federal labor databases minutes after contentious data scraping was undertaken by the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The breach attempt, targeting the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), followed DOGE’s alleged download of huge volumes of confidential labor data and disabling of critical security measures.
