A UK-based software firm, Logezy, had millions of healthcare workers’ sensitive data exposed online due to an unsecured, non-password-protected database. Found by security researcher Jeremiah Fowler, the 1.1TB database contained almost eight million files including national insurance numbers, work authorization documents, and government ID documents. The majority related to healthcare providers and recruiting agencies. Fowler notified Logezy, who have since secured the database.
