LA-based start-up Cofertility has raised $7.25m in a series A funding round led by Next Ventures and Offline Ventures to bring its total funding to $16m. Cofertility, launched this year, offers a new, more equitable approach to fertility treatments. Its two programmes, Keep and Split, provide affordable egg freezing, with the Split option enabling women to freeze their eggs free of charge if half are donated to a family unable to conceive. The platform streamlines the donation process and addresses issues of cost, stigma and diversity.
