Cybersecurity researchers discovered a vulnerability in Google’s Quick Share utility. The flaw, identified as CVE-2024-10668, potentially allowed a denial-of-service or unauthorized file transfer. It was a bypass for two previously disclosed weaknesses. Google resolved the issue in version 1.0.2002.2 after the flaws were responsibly disclosed in August 2024.
