Utimaco has launched Quantum Protect, a Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) package for its u.trust hardware security modules (HSM). The package supports PQC algorithms ML-KEM and ML-DSA and is designed to be activated in-field without the need for hardware exchanges. A simulator is included to allow the testing of new standards before purchasing. With quantum computers predicted to break key schemes by 2030, Utimaco is providing customers with a solution for secure migration to PQC.
