A malware called CoffeeLoader, discovered by cybersecurity firm Zscaler, is attacking Windows users by imitating ASUS’ Armoury Crate application. The malware, which emerged in September 2024, remains undetected by antivirus software by using various techniques such as running code on the GPU or by employing a method known as Call Stack Spoofing. It also locks itself in an encrypted form when inactive, making it unreadable to security scanners.
