Global cybersecurity training provider INE Security has launched an initiative to spotlight increasing cyber threats to healthcare institutions. The move, part of National Physicians Week 2025, follows a surge in cyberattacks on hospitals and clinics. The healthcare sector saw 725 hacking-related breaches in 2023, exposing over 124 million patient records, with an average data breach costing about $10.93 million. INE Security emphasises continuous training in cybersecurity for all healthcare employees, from physicians to IT personnel.
