Cryptojacking hackers blackmails YouTubers; Lazarus’ malware

North Korea-linked hacker group Lazarus has infected JavaScript packages with malware targeting digital assets. The malware mimics well-known libraries and to date, has been downloaded 330 times, extracting sensitive login data and digital asset wallets. Cryptojackers continue to leverage YouTube, blackmailing users into featuring a link to cryptojacking malware on their channels, primarily masked as a tool for bypassing local internet restrictions. The malware mines digital assets without the user’s knowledge.
