Cryptocurrency traders are falling prey to a malware campaign spreading through Reddit, where cybercriminals are offering “cracked” versions of the trading platform TradingView, according to cybersecurity firm Malwarebytes. The malware operators are targeting both Windows and Mac users with modified software offering premium features of TradingView. The software packages contain malware, Lumma Stealer and Atomic Stealer (AMOS), designed to extract sensitive data, primarily focusing on cryptocurrency wallet credentials.
