Microsoft Incident Response has identified a new remote access trojan (RAT) called StilachiRAT, capable of stealing information like passwords and cryptocurrency wallet data. The malware can reinstate itself if removed and can extract data from various applications such as Google Chrome. Though first discovered last November, it is not yet widespread. To prevent infection, users are advised to maintain good cyber hygiene and keep their antivirus software updated.
