FBI alerts Gmail users over Medusa Ransomware

The FBI has issued a warning to Gmail users about an ongoing hacking campaign by the operators of Medusa Ransomware. The group is exploiting vulnerabilities in software, mainly through phishing scams, to encrypt victims’ data and demand large ransoms. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) advises backing up data on multiple servers and being cautious with suspicious emails and sites. It also recommends enabling two-factor authentication and keeping systems updated.
