Two online video platforms have exposed almost a million devices worldwide to malware through ads, claims Microsoft. Predominantly affecting consumer and enterprise devices, the indiscriminate cyberattack aims to steal users’ information. Microsoft has tracked the infections notably to movies7(.net) and 0123movie(.art), whose ads redirected users to scam sites encouraging them to download malware.
