From 2025, Windows 10 will no longer receive updates, and older hardware may not be compatible with the new version. The shift to laptop use during the pandemic has also created a strain on budgets for replacing ageing equipment, potentially leaving many systems vulnerable. The NHS capital budget has reportedly not risen to accommodate these out-of-date tools.
