The Healthcare Sector Coordinating Council (HSCC) has launched an initiative to map healthcare security systems to prevent major disruptions caused by cyber attacks, according to Greg Garcia, executive director of cybersecurity at the HSCC. By establishing a better supply risk management system, more attention can be paid to cybersecurity uncertainties during federal government transitions. The three stages of the sector mapping initiative, collaborating on cybersecurity efforts and further HSCC projects were also discussed.
