The ‘Eleven11bot’ botnet malware has infected over 86,000 IoT devices, including security cameras and network video recorders (NVRs), primarily to execute distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks against telecom service providers and online gaming servers. It has been traced back to Iran and ranks among the largest known DDoS botnet attacks since February 2022.
