Around 60% of US healthcare organizations that have reported breaches remain vulnerable to further attacks due to inconsistent adoption of DMARC standards, according to a study by Red Sift. Among the largest healthcare firms in EMEA, 49% were unprotected. Despite the number of major breaches declining by 5.9%, the total number of compromised records increased by 9.4% reaching 184 million, attesting to the need for robust cybersecurity measures.
