A new variant of Vo1d malware is rapidly growing, affecting almost 1.6 million Android TV devices across 226 countries. The malware has advanced encryption and resilient infrastructure capabilities. Most infected devices are in Brazil at 25% of the total. A sudden increase in infections has been noted, with an instance of devices affected in India increasing from 3,900 to 217,000 in three days. The malware primarily targets Android TV boxes not certified by Google.
