Matthew Van Andel is suing Disney for wrongful termination after he downloaded malware that led to a cybersecurity breach. The malware was embedded in an AI tool he downloaded onto his personal computer, which subsequently compromised his and Disney’s details, exposing sensitive data. Van Andel, who alerted Disney to the issue, was later fired for supposedly accessing inappropriate material. His lawyer has subsequently filed a lawsuit against Disney for slander and wrongful termination.
