NHS staff don’t think they’re cyber ready, BT finds

While 94% of NHS staff understand their role in cybersecurity, only 36% believe current measures are effective. BT’s research also found that 60% of UK citizens are concerned about cyber-attacks on the NHS. It revealed concerns about outdated systems, with 64% of NHS staff reporting that patient data is vulnerable due to outdated technology. Training gaps were also highlighted, with only 15% of staff trained on new technologies and 39% on existing systems.
