Copilot exposes private GitHub pages, some removed by Microsoft

Microsoft’s AI assistant, Copilot, has exposed more than 20,000 private GitHub repositories from companies such as Google, IBM, and Microsoft itself, according to AI security firm Lasso. These repositories were initially public before being set to private, often due to containing sensitive data. Despite this, they remain fully accessible via Copilot months later.
