Cyber attackers utilising the Chinese cloud content delivery network myqcloud and the Youdao Cloud Notes service have targeted industry organisations across the Asia-Pacific with a malware named FatalRAT, according to a report by Kaspersky. These attacks impact sectors such as manufacturing, information technology, healthcare and transport across various nations, predominantly targeting Chinese-language speakers. Payload delivery techniques and other evasive measures were used to avoid detection.
