Google is developing a security feature for Android blocking alterations to sensitive settings during phone calls. The measure aims to prevent malicious actors leading users to install apps from unknown sources and grant accessibility access, common methods of delivering malware. The feature, dubbed “telephone-oriented attack delivery”, is currently live in Android 16 Beta 2.
