Microsoft IIS Servers Targeted For Malware Deployment

Chinese hacking operation, DragonRank, is suspected of compromising Microsoft Internet Information Services servers across nine countries including India, Japan and Brazil through BadIIS malware. The attacks involve SEO fraud and malicious JavaScript code injections, targeting the government, education, technology, and telecommunications sectors, facilitating redirection of users to illegal gambling sites from legitimate web pages.
